The City of Sanibel's annual repairs to the Shared Use Paths begins Monday, August 21, 2017. For safety, the areas under repair will be barricaded off from users. All path users are reminded to use caution while navigating around construction zones.
Every year the City inspects all 25.54 miles of Sanibel's paths and prioritizes the needs for repairs. This years Shared Use Path repairs total $444,415.58. The contractor is required to complete the project within 45 days.
